Need for tanning beds!
I received my Tallowtan a few weeks ago and I'm extremely impressed! The first thing I noticed was the way it blends effortlessly into the skin. Smooth, not greasy.
The scent is a nostalgic vanilla, not overpowering or fake smelling in any way. There is zero transfer on linens or clothing. I love that! Super easy to apply and gives a natural glowy tan in just a few days. I tried the light to medium shade and I think it is a great start, the perfect subtle tan. I am excited to try a darker shade next time! Highly recommend!
I was using the light medium to get a real good base on and then switched to the medium dark because I needed a dark tan for an event that I’m going to .

Tallowtan does an excellent job combining skincare with glow. I’ve found a night time application works best for a deep colour. There truly is no tan smell. I also like the size of the jar (you get a lot of product and don’t need more than a quarter size for face, neck, and chest). I find I don’t need my other night time products as much (regular tallow cream, or hyloronic acid). I’m impressed.
I love the sun but I am fair skin. I don’t want to look wrinkly when I’m older so I use sunless tanners. FINALLY a product I LOVE and it is all natural! The color is incredible, just enough to sport a sun-kissed glow all year round. Because it is grass fed tallow, I know it’s balancing my hormones at the same time. This is my new year round shade. I am loving Tallowtan!! I have tried alll of the self tanners out there. They streak, stain and look anything but natural. Tallowtan is so easy to apply and dries almost instantly. The texture is luxurious, the color is beautiful! And I love that it’s buildable and the best part is knowing I’m putting a tanner on my skin that’s full of the good stuff, and no chemicals!!!
As a fair skinned individual, I have tried many self tanners, only to be left disappointed (with either the coverage, overwhelming smell, color, staining, etc). While I’ve only used Tallowtan a few times since receiving it, I honestly couldn’t be happier!! I apply it after my shower and can surprisingly see a difference within a few hours. It feels great on my skin and absorbs very fast, without the greasy feeling. The scent has a hint of vanilla, which is perfect. Tallowtan is NOTHING like anything else I’ve used. It’s top tier!!! The ultralight tallowtan is great if you have pale-light skin, looking for a settle tan and new to self tanners. Tallow smells amazing, and leaves your skin feeling hydrated and smooth! I’ve tried many different self tanners, Tallowtan is by far the BEST I’ve tried.
