Tallowtan was born out of frustration — with orange tans, harsh ingredients, and formulas that felt more like paint than skincare.

As a mom of twins and a lover of wellness, I couldn’t find a self-tanner that treated my skin with the same care I gave it everywhere else — so I created one.

After 2021, I started digging deeper into what we were really being sold. From the hormone disruptors in our beauty routines to the toxins we unknowingly slathered on ourselves and our families — it was everywhere. And I was done with it.

I’ve always loved the sun and believe it’s essential to our health. But living in Canada, we only get so much of it — and I needed a way to safely support my skin and glow all year round. That meant creating a formula I’d be proud to use on myself, my children, and my customers — one without the toxic load.

Every ingredient in Tallowtan meets Eco-Cert and EU clean beauty standards. No greenwashing. No filler. Just skincare-first performance, led by nature. Tallowtan is quick-absorbing — because I formulated it to act like real skincare, using high-performance natural ingredients that deliver results without compromise.

I have big plans — this is just the beginning. More products are coming for women, men, and children, and every one of them will be held to the same standard: effective, transparent, and powered by purpose.
